Meet Eric, an extraordinary feline with a heart as generous as his spirit. During his active years, Eric served as a dedicated blood donor, contributing to the well-being of numerous cats in need. Upon retiring, he found solace in gazing at the Brisbane River from his favourite climbing tower and revelling in the affectionate embraces of his devoted fur parents, Chris and Tess.

As he eagerly awaited the arrival of a human little sister, a heartbreaking discovery changed the course of Eric’s life. A tumor was detected behind his eyes. Captured mere days after his radiation therapy, this poignant portrait reflects Eric’s resilient charm, as he mustered the strength to be his affectionate self during the photoshoot.

Today, we fondly remember Eric, a beloved member of the VSS clinic family. His legacy of compassion and generosity will be forever cherished, and he will be deeply missed
